TAL 3D SCAN

The TAL 3D SCAN is an inspection module that attaches to MIRTEC's premium 3D AOI, the MV-6 OMNI, performing pre-inspection while the main 3D AOI operates.
From a system-wide perspective, this is equivalent to inspecting two PCBs simultaneously.
Since the TAL 3D SCAN consistently operates faster than the MV-6 OMNI, its inspection time effectively converges to zero within the overall manufacturing process.
By inspecting components higher than 5mm which typically takes longer to inspect beforehand, the TAL 3D SCAN significantly reduces the total inspection time, ultimately enhancing productivity.

The laser unit used in the TAL 3D SCAN is stands out from others.
It operates without generating vibrations, preventing measurement failures caused by mechanical disturbances.
The unit scans an area of 320mm × 320mm in a single pass, with a total scan time of 6 seconds, including calculation and data transfer, while the scanning process itself takes only 2 seconds.
Additionally, an extended inspection area option is available, allowing scans of up to 510mm × 510mm in a short time.

The TAL 3D SCAN's unique laser scanner features an exceptionally wide measuring range, allowing it to accurately inspect components up to 70 mm high in a single pass.
Even when multiple tall components are present within the measuring range, the impact on inspection speed is minimal, ensuring consistently high productivity.

The 3D AOI(MV-6 OMNI), which serves as the foundation for TAL 3D SCAN operation, can be equipped with an internal flipper for double-sided PCB inspection.
This allows both the top and bottom of a PCB to be inspected without the need for external equipment.
