MIRTEC, a global leader in inspection technology, proudly announced the successful conclusion of its participation in SMTA Guadalajara 2026, held from October 7 to 8, 2026, at Expo Guadalajara, Mexico. Throughout the exhibition, MIRTEC showcased its advanced 3D AOI, SPI, Conformal Coating Inspection, and AI-driven Smart Factory solutions at Booth #302, attracting strong interest from electronics manufacturing professionals across Mexico and the global industry.
The event provided an excellent opportunity for MIRTEC to highlight its latest inspection technologies and innovative solutions designed to address the evolving demands of electronics manufacturing. It also served as a valuable platform for engaging with customers and industry experts on improving manufacturing quality, inspection automation, and production efficiency.
Among the featured systems, the MV-6TB 3D AOI attracted particular attention with its innovative simultaneous Top/Bottom inspection technology. By inspecting both sides of a PCB in a single pass, the system eliminates sequential inspection while its independent Dual PC Architecture reduces cycle time and increases productivity by up to 200%.
A significant highlight of the event was the MV-6TB receiving the 2026 Mexico Technology Award in the Inspection – Simultaneous Top & Bottom AOI category, recognizing MIRTEC's technological innovation and advanced inspection capabilities. The award was presented at a ceremony held ahead of the exhibition opening.
Also on display, the GENESYS-CC features multi-angle UV lighting and high-resolution imaging technology for precise inspection of conformal coating coverage, micro-bubbles, cracks, and coating thickness. Meanwhile, the MV-6 OMNI Alpha combines 12-projection Blue Light Moiré technology with AI-based Auto Teaching to deliver reliable and efficient 3D inspection across diverse PCB manufacturing environments.
The MS-11 Alpha 3D SPI was also showcased, offering stable, high-precision solder paste inspection through its advanced high-resolution optical system. Its optional Solder Supplement Function further enhances process reliability and productivity by addressing insufficient or missing solder paste.
In addition, MIRTEC introduced its AI-driven Smart Factory solution, INTELLI-PRO AI, featuring automated teaching, intelligent defect classification, real-time process monitoring, and centralized data management. The integrated solution attracted interest for its ability to improve inspection efficiency and support increasingly intelligent manufacturing environments. Throughout the two-day exhibition, MIRTEC welcomed customers, business partners, and industry professionals from the automotive electronics, electronic components, and advanced manufacturing sectors. Visitors showed particular interest in MIRTEC's simultaneous dual-sided inspection technology and AI-powered inspection automation solutions designed to improve manufacturing productivity and reliability.
“SMTA Guadalajara 2026 was a valuable opportunity to connect with customers and industry professionals from Mexico and around the world while demonstrating MIRTEC's latest inspection technologies,” said a MIRTEC representative. “Receiving the Mexico Technology Award for the MV-6TB was particularly meaningful, as it highlights our commitment to technological innovation. We remain dedicated to delivering advanced inspection solutions that help manufacturers achieve greater quality, productivity, and process reliability.”
MIRTEC extends its sincere appreciation to all customers, partners, and industry professionals who visited its booth during SMTA Guadalajara 2026. Moving forward, the company will continue to strengthen its presence and partnerships across Mexico and Latin America while advancing innovative inspection technologies and AI-driven Smart Factory solutions to support the future of global electronics manufacturing. |
